Educational Outreach

We are dedicated in our efforts to promote a strong educational outreach program with funding from our research grants.

We have hosted more than 150 middle-school students on campus to teach them about agriculture, genetics, plant breeding, and the environment using barley. This program has an impact on our community by exposing young children to science and, hopefully, inspiring a passion for working to solve the some of critical problems of our society face today.
